HERO 206 – Academic Compliance, Program Delivery & Instructional Oversight

This 4-hour professional continuing education course examines how institutions maintain academic compliance through consistent program delivery and instructional oversight under the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE). Topics include alignment to approved program outlines and schedules, documentation of instructional hours and attendance/participation, syllabus and curriculum consistency, faculty supervision and instructional quality controls, assessment and grading consistency, student academic records and progress documentation, and internal monitoring practices that support renewal and on-site review readiness. Administrators will learn how to design and oversee repeatable academic systems that ensure instruction is delivered as approved, records are complete and defensible, and inconsistencies are identified and corrected before they become regulatory findings. The course emphasizes institutional accountability and preventative compliance rather than reactive enforcement.
