HERO 205 – Catalog, Curriculum Integrity & Student Learning Documentation
- Student Learning Documentation
This 4-hour professional continuing education course examines how institutions maintain catalog accuracy, curriculum integrity, and defensible student learning documentation under Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE) expectations. Topics include the catalog as a regulatory control document, alignment between approved program structure and instructional delivery, syllabus and assessment consistency, documentation of student progress and learning evidence, curriculum change management, and academic recordkeeping and retention controls. Administrators will learn how to design and oversee systems that prevent document misalignment, reduce recurring findings, and ensure academic operations remain consistent with institutional representations to students and regulators. The course emphasizes institutional accountability and preventative compliance rather than reactive correction.
